What can I expect to do in this role?
In this challenging position you will:
• perform reception duties and provide general information to clients
• provide status reports to clients or partners
• maintain electronic and manual records
• assist with program delivery activities
• provide general administrative and clerical support
• ensure confidentiality and discretion in dealing with client information
How do I qualify?
Mandatory
You must possess oral French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.
Communication Skills:
• You have knowledge of customer service standards and are able to interact with clients in crisis.
• You can prepare effective written correspondence.
• You are able to work in a team and build effective client relationships.
Analytical, Reasoning and Problem-Solving Skills:
• You are able to quickly identify needs of clients.
• You are able to respond to inquiries and complaints.
• You can ensure confidentiality.
• You have experience reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy.
Other Essential Skills:
• You can learn and explain legislation, policies and procedures.
• You demonstrate judgment and analytical skills in identifying when to refer matters to other staff.
• You are able to determine priorities in a high-volume environment.
Administrative Skills:
• You have demonstrated experience in providing administrative support.
• You are proficient with computers and office software (e.g. Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• You can use general office equipment.
