JOB DESCRIPTION:
MZ Roofing is a small, family-owned business providing residential asphalt roofing services within and around the Ottawa-area. We would love to have you as a part of our team!
We are hiring 2 full-time shinglers and 1 full-time labourer to work through the roofing season
(now until December 2022; restarting March 2023).
WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:
- Are skilled shinglers or have a commitment to learning the trade
- Can handle work in heat and at heights (up to 3 stories; on slopes)
- Are reliable and able to work on-call based on weather conditions
- Can work well within a team
- Applicants with vehicles, tools, and heights training will be prioritized
WHAT WE OFFER:
- On-the-job-training in shingling
- A competitive wage: labourers start at $20/hr. and shinglers at $28-$55/hr. depending on experience & performance
- Opportunities for monthly $1 performance-based raises
