Cabinet Install / Service Technician – MR Kitchens (Location: Ottawa)

Employer: MR Kitchens – A custom kitchen cabinet manufacturer with 3 showrooms in the Ottawa region in business since 1986. Shop is located in Vars - 15 minutes east of Ottawa - 20 minutes south of Orleans.
Job Description:
Installing custom cabinetry – kitchens etc, in private homes, rental corporations & new home constructions
Completing service on installed kitchens
Trouble-shooting & brain-storming solutions to installation issues on site
Installing back-ordered material
Completing touch-ups, adjustments
Complex Crown & trim installation
Performing pre-delivery site inspections & drawing checks
Perform Quality Control inspections to identify all outstanding issues after the cabinet installation
Qualities Needed:
Minimum 5-10 years experience in Kitchen cabinetry installation, specialties & service
In depth knowledge of kitchen cabinetry, custom trim & troubleshooting
Outstanding workmanship standards (efficient yet perfectionist)
High attention to detail, thoroughness, & proactiveness (doesn’t miss anything)
Proactive, thinks outside the box, able to take initiative but obtains approval before proceeding
Able and willing to adapt to emergencies & fluid schedules
Professional approach to client complaints aiming for customer satisfaction
Good communication skills in helping ease client concerns and explain acceptable cabinetry deficiency standards
Fluent in verbal & written English
Able to lift 50lbs.
