Job Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Integrated Building Systems Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing multiple building technologies including but not limited to HVAC, Security, RTLS and Lighting Control Systems.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Service, install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and inspect BAS, security and RTLS systems
  • Diagnosing and Troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and software
  • Commission BAS, front-end workstations & servers, and electric / pneumatic controls
  • Diagnosing and Troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and software
  • Ability to troubleshoot existing installations or utilize as-built drawings and documentation where available to correct deficiencies and repair systems without supervision
  • Provide onsite validation and testing of RTLS systems
  • Ensure customer requests and status are followed up on time and in a professional way
  • Perform all assigned preventative maintenance, repair and emergency service calls
  • Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the company’s team of managers, engineers, and technicians; the client; and consulting engineers
  • Effectively communicate and maintain project status with Management, Contractors, and Customers
